Hi. I need a few volunteers to help videotape the tutorials on
Sunday. Please help out! (Hiring pro A/V people to do this
would have been very expensive.)
First, I need two camcorders, each with a tripod, by early Sunday
morning (as close to 8:00am as possible, so we'll have time to set
them up before the tutorials start). Bring the power supply,
instruction manual, and just to be safe, an extension cord if you have
one.
I only need two, since I have one of my own already, and we don't need
to tape the Common Lisp Tutorial.
Second, I need people to operate the camcorders at the tutorials. You
don't have to be a professional videographer to do this! Just keep
the camera roughly aimed at the speaker or the board, and that will be
fine. Also, start and stop the camera, and make sure that the tapes
are reloaded when they run out (they each hold one hour, so that won't
happen often).
We'll have to arrange to be at distinct tutorials, so that they all
get covered. I'm going to be at "Monads" in the morning, and
"Graphical User Interfaces" in the afternoon.
Please help out! Don't just assume someone else will do it.
Thank you very much!
