My impression is that he'd be willing to talk about any proposal.
You could even talk to him about writing a highly specialized
book like "Let Over Lambda" (an unusual book about Lisp
macros, written in an unconventional style). However, I'd guess
that they'd like something like what you're talking about, perhaps
to compete with "Practical Common Lisp".
